Richard Green – Non-Executive Chairman Richard Green is a prominent Melbourne businessman with 50 years of stock broking experience. In 1962, Richard commenced stock broking with JB Were; followed by stock broking at Ord Minet in the UK; and eventually commencing his own stock broking business in Australia. Richard was the Chairman of the Alpine Resort Commission for 7 years and has chaired numerous other companies. Chuck Ellison - Non-Executive Deputy Chairman As National Sales Manager for Microsoft, Chuck designed and launched the company’s initial government, corporate and education sales programs. He continued his association with Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen by leading sales and marketing for Asymetrix up to that company’s successful NASDAQ listing. In his last executive role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ON24, Chuck participated in the turnaround of that company to its current position as the global leader of webcasting and virtual events. Chuck currently consults for a limited number of Silicon Valley venture capital firms and technology start-ups. Mark Fishwick - Non Executive Director An out-of-home (“OOH”) media veteran with 30 years global experience founding many well known brand names including;Nettlefold/NLD/Boyd (now Eye Corp), Cody (now APNO) and Claude Group.Currently Mark is the group managing director of Ambient Advertising, Chairman of Blue Media Group, Captive Vision Network and Plasma-OOH Indonesia. Andrew Plympton - Non Executive Director An active entrepreneur with extensive experience in the financial services sectors, sports administration and listed companies, including CEO of two Global Insurance Broking Firms and successful long term President of the St Kilda Football Club. Currently Andrew is an Executive Member and Director of The Australian Olympic Committee, President of Yachting Australia Inc., and is non-executive Chairman of 4 other Boards (2 ASX listed companies). Adrian Ballintine – Chief Executive OfficerAdrian Ballintine was born in Victoria, Australia and attended RMIT where he qualified as a Town Clerk/City Manager. He was Acting Town Clerk of a major Australian city at age 27 and by age 30 co-founded a technology start-up with Indian born, Tata Unisys President Saurabh Srivastava. For 5 years the alliance produced solid results and lifetime friendships with India and its business community. During the 1990’s Ballintine’s company was involved in driving a number of US based technology start-ups to NASDAQ:
In 1999 Ballintine listed his company on the ASX as MultieMedia Limited. In 2004 the company renamed as Newsat and changed its focus from software to satellite. In 2005 Newsat acquired Australia’s most significant space assets from Dutch based Newskies and this year announced its intention to launch its own geostationary satellite. Ballintine remains as Founder/CEO of the listed entity. |
